Join us to celebrate the release Ian Wellens’ new book, A History of Palestine in Five Fruits. Born out of twenty years reading and thinking, this unique book is partly a streamlined history homing in on the core issues of the Palestine/Israel problem, partly a poetic reflection on place and people, partly an impassioned cry for justice. By weaving these three things together in one text, Ian has created something genuinely new.
Ian will be in conversation with writer, artist, curator, international lecturer and traveller Jenny Balfour-Paul. After the talk, you will be able to ask your questions of Ian & Jenny. Ian will then hang out to chat further and sign copies of his book.
